Hi again John. I've now gone and seen this youtube clip via the Facebook site, and it's great! 'Way Too Long in the Tower of Song' is a very powerful statement. I must go and look up more of his stuff, hadn't heard of Huey before.
The Leonard Cohen Boycott Israel Campaign was formed by a small group of longtime fans of Leonard Cohen. We take no pleasure is asking Leonard and his management to deprive Israeli fans of their long awaited moment to see him live, but feel that with circumstances as they are in the Palestinian territories and Gaza in particular, the priority must be to appeal to them to refrain from giving credibility to the Israeli state by playing there.
I have posted a video on Youtube dealing with this very subject.
